Report verification

Confirm that a document carrying our name is genuine — and see what the laboratory actually recorded for that sample.

Verify a report number

Enter the report number printed on the front page of the report. The number is in the format YG-YYYY-MMDD-XX00.

Report not found?

If the number cannot be located, the document is not ours. Please send a scan to [email protected] and we will confirm in writing.

Counterfeit warning

We never issue reports without a report number, and we never ask a third party to "confirm" a result by phone alone. Always verify online.

Copies & re-issues

Duplicate originals and re-issued copies can be requested by the applicant of record. Copies are watermarked as duplicates.

Anatomy of a report

What our reports contain

  • Standards applied, with the clause number for each result
  • Test conditions, instruments and calibration traceability
  • Measured values, requirement limits and the individual conclusion
  • Photographs of the sample as received and after testing
  • Accreditation mark, authorised signatory and end-of-report statement

Amendment, retest and re-issue

A report is a controlled document. Any change to an issued report follows the rules below.

Typing, spelling or administrative errors are corrected by issuing a formal amendment sheet that carries the same report number with a revision index. The original report remains valid only together with the amendment.
A retest may be requested by the applicant of record. New samples are required; the retest is issued as a separate report number and does not overwrite the original result. Where the original report has already been circulated, we recommend informing the buyer.
Only the applicant of record may request duplicates. Duplicates are marked "duplicate of original" and carry the same report number; they cannot be used to imply a different test date.
If a report is withdrawn, the online verification record is changed to "withdrawn" with the reason and date. Anyone verifying the document afterwards will see that status immediately.
